Twelve principles written with real input from tattoo artists, studio owners, receptionists, and clients. Not a values page — a contract. Every API decision, field name, and default behavior traces back to one of them. If it violates the doctrine, we don't ship it.

Tattoo life has natural patterns. We ran real studio workflows through the system and baked the sensible defaults in — inquiry routing, deposit state, consent flow, aftercare timing. Builders start immediately. Only the parts that are genuinely unique to your product need customization.

Solo artists, multi-chair studios, traveling artists, flash-focused, appointment-only, or walk-in — every model is valid. We support real diversity instead of forcing one "correct" workflow. The system bends to people, not the other way around.

Working tattooers and studio owners review the roadmap — not as beta testers, but as co-authors. That's how we stay grounded.
